Welcome beautiful souls,
Welcome! I’m Carrie Scharf, and I love creating small rituals that help you slow down, restore, and refill your energy, one gentle moment at a time.
I believe self-care doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. It’s about noticing what your body, mind, and spirit need, and giving yourself permission to meet those needs with kindness.
Free subscribers get a 🌿 A Monthly Self-Care Guide — delivered to your inbox on the first of each month
Each guide is built around a single word to help you move through the month with a little more intention and care.
Inside, you’ll find:
a quiet opening letter
scriptures for the month
a place to release what you’re carrying (including a guilt dump)
small ways to care for your body and skin
gentle connection ideas
space to come back to yourself
truths for the sensitive giver
and a closing prayer
It’s not something to complete.
It’s something to return to—on the full days, the quiet days, and the days you need a softer place to land.
✨ About the Membership
If your days are full, loud, or constantly needed by others -
whether you are a caregiver, a busy tired mom or a highly sensitive person and a special needs mom like me-
this is not something that will ask more of you.
It’s something that meets you in the middle of your day.
You might begin to notice:
— you don’t respond to everything immediately
— you take a breath before the next thing
— you feel less pressure to “keep up”
— you remember yourself in small, steady ways
Not all at once.
Enough to feel a little more like yourself again.
As a paid subscriber you’ll receive 3 different emails a week.
Monday will be a devotional, journaling, things I am not doing, or a gentle return.

🌸 About Carrie
Hi, I’m Carrie.
My path into handmade skincare and self-care began when my son, who has Down syndrome, underwent heart surgery as a baby. In caring for him, I learned how easily we can forget to care for ourselves. Creating gentle, natural skincare became my quiet form of prayer—a way to pour peace back into my own heart.
Over time that practice grew into Carrie’s Handmade Essentials, where I teach herbal skincare, bath rituals, and simple ways to create nourishing products using natural ingredients.
Now I create gentle spaces for sensitive women and caregivers through skincare, ritual, quiet audio reflections—and occasionally hands-on gatherings where we slow down and create together.
