Hello beautiful Souls -
Unfolding doesn’t always mean doing more.
Sometimes it means making space.
Space in your schedule.
Space in your thoughts.
Space in your day for something gentle to appear.
A lot of us move from one responsibility to the next without ever pausing long enough to notice what’s quietly trying to grow.
But unfolding often begins with something very small.
A moment of stillness.
A little curiosity.
A willingness to let the day open slowly instead of forcing it forward.
Here’s something you might try today:
Pause for one quiet minute.
Look around the room you’re in.
Notice one simple thing that feels comforting: a plant, a window, a mug, the light coming through the room.
Let yourself enjoy it for just a moment.
That’s unfolding too.
Small Radiant Practices
Try one this week:
• Read a few pages of something peaceful before bed
• Sit near a window for two quiet minutes
• Light a candle while you make tea
• Stretch your shoulders and take one slow breath
• Step outside and notice one sign of spring
Small things create space.
And space is where unfolding happens.
Lip Balm
Lately I’ve been transitioning from plastic to tins. So, my lip balm will now be in one oz tins ($6) which can be ordered from my website (shipping is included in the price online) or just send me a message if you are local.
I was working on a few orders this week and I ordered some lip balm tubes for a friend. I should get them on Tuesday. If anyone wants chocolate, vanilla, or orange spice lip balm, I will be making some.
Unfold
This month’s theme is unfold and the monthly guide can be downloaded here.
If you’d like to walk through this theme together, here are a few quiet places where reflections and encouragement will appear throughout the month. This list is also in the guide

A short video to release the thoughts and pressure you may be carrying before the weekend.
☐ Friday – A Place to Land (YouTube and here)
A quiet evening video with calming words and music. It’s a soft place to rest at the end of the week.

A short affirmation-style post centered around this month’s word: Unfold.
☐ Monthly Self-Care Reminder
A gentle encouragement to care for yourself in small, meaningful ways.

Scripture of the Week
“See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
— Isaiah 43:19
Seeds for Reflection
You can write these down, think about them, or simply hold them gently this week.
• Where in my life do I feel crowded or overwhelmed right now?
• What would it look like to create a little space there?
• What small thing has been bringing me comfort lately?
• What might God be quietly growing in my life that I haven’t noticed yet?
My pea plants growing. :-)
Word Garden 🌿
Words growing in the garden this week:
space
notice
tend
quiet
restore
welcome
ease
grow
If one of these words speaks to you, keep it nearby this week.
Write it on a sticky note.
Add it to your journal.
Let it be a gentle reminder when life feels full.
If you’d like to go deeper…
You’ll see the theme of Unfold woven through my posts and videos this month: small rituals and gentle reminders you can try in real time.
But if you’ve ever wished you could go deeper than a caption or a short video, that’s what The Space Between is for.
Because before we unfold, we breathe.
Inside the zine you’ll find slower reflections, skincare rituals, guided journal pages, cozy extras like playlists and quizzes, and space to sit with these ideas instead of scrolling past them.
You can explore Breathe on my website.
Subscribers save $1 each month and never miss an issue, and you can read it anytime by downloading it there.
Yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Muffins
I am not a food photographer, so don’t grade me on the photo, but this weekend I made my favorite chocolate muffins. I don’t normally share food recipes, but I just love these and they are so yummy and quick to make. Just mix 3 bananas, 3 tablespoons of cocoa, and 1/2 cup of peanut butter. I use the no sugar added peanut butter. Bake them at 350 for 20 ish minutes.
Enjoy!
See you next week,
Carrie 🌿
